We are a collective of aquatic professionals assembled together to create and distribute thoughtful aquatic mechanical product solutions for recreational water and life support systems. We endeavor to develop sustainable products and solutions that save water, reduce energy consumption, and decrease space required, all while lowering operating costs and increasing efficiency. We improve the owner, designer, and builder experience by creating, manufacturing, and distributing products specifically designed and manufactured for application in the recreational aquatics industry globally.

About the position

Reporting directly to the President and working closely with our Business Development team lead, this is a strategic position primarily responsible for walking prospective stakeholders through the buyer’s journey as efficiently as possible. You’re passionate about solving problems and love to consult, inform, educate and respectfully and promptly tackle complex project requests with multiple stakeholders to guide them into making good purchasing decisions using our products and services. You thrive in a fast paced environment and love connecting with people, places and products. You are in it for the long haul and love a long sales cycle. 

The candidate will be responsible for understanding the current state of the market, evaluating competition, and championing the voice of the customer through working with your fellow Aquify’ers. You are a sales chameleon and can adapt to the needs of the customer and all stakeholders on a project. Your colors may change but your commitment to the customer and team is unwavering and comes from a position of kindness, caring, understanding and passion for the success of all stakeholders. 

This remote or in person position requires entrepreneurial discipline and ability to work live in remote team settings with a preselected software suite. You are so proficient with today’s technology you have no need for administrative support because it would just slow you down. 

Domestic and some international travel for trade shows, presentations, and meetings will be required.

Experience & education

  • 5+ years experience
  • History with complex selling
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Up to 25% travel required 
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Hubspot an asset  
  • Business Diploma, Degree, or Master’s in business administration, sales engineer
  • Ability to work effectively with remote team members

Compensation & perks

  • $75K – $125k range depending on industry experience and relationships
